Designing simple solutions to ease farmer’s burdens in Malawi

In partnership with the Agricultural Transformation Initiative, the 2019 AgTech sought to make groundnut farming in Malawi less labor-intensive. Moving Windmills reviewed 65 entries from elementary, high school, and university students. William provided coaching for student prototypes and designs before ultimately awarding Kelvin Batwell, a 13-year innovator as the winner.
